At TFCA, we focus on building students' foundation for growth in academics, biblical worldview, social and physical skills. Through core subjects, along with enrichment classes, students have hands-on, engaging, instruction that incorporate multiple intelligence modalities, higher level thinking skills and problem solving. Students have differentiated instruction and opportunities for challenges and remediation.
All TK-5th grade students receive PE, Art, Music and library classes each week. All students in 2nd through 5th grade have weekly Spanish classes. TK, K, 1st and 2nd graders go with their homeroom class for technology with their regular classroom teacher. Third through fifth grades have chromebooks assigned to them for the school year and use them daily.
Project based learning, genius hour projects and research are incorporated throughout our elementary classes.
Students in elementary classes have opportunities to compete in sports, perform in fine arts programs, display their work at the yearly art show and participate in our annual talent show.
