On Saturday, February 11, the TFCA elementary academic team competed in the district Governor's Cup academic competition held at Hearn Elementary school.
The team earned 34 total team points and won the district championship for the third year in a row.
Students also won the quick recall competition winning all their matches that day.
Individual students who medaled in written assessment were:
Madison Fields- 4th in Social Studies and Arts & Humanities
Jake Tigges- 2nd in Math and Social Studies
Bryce James- 1st in Science and 5th in Math
Lillie Claire Whitman- 1st in Arts & Humanities
Eli McCann- 3rd in Social Studies
Students will move on to the regional competition on Saturday, March 4.
