Schedules for Virtual Learning

Schedules for Virtual Learning - ALL Students Learning from Home

If for some reason TFCA has to close to in-person instruction and all students are learning from home for a short period of time, the various grade levels will continue to learn according to the schedules attached below.  

MS/HS students will continue to follow their Monday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday block schedules.  
  • Students will log in each day at the set time for class to begin and attend via Google Meet through the link in their Google Classroom.  
  • Wednesdays will be FLEX days and include time for chapel, advisory, catching up on homework and scheduling 1 on 1 sessions with teachers for extra instruction/review.
  • Attendance in virtual classes will be taken.  Students are expected to log in ON TIME and participate in classes.
  • If a student is ill and not able to attend, parents should notify teachers and the front office by 9:30 am at the latest.
  • Teachers will provide links in Google Classroom for all required work.
  • Lunch is scheduled for all MS/HS students and staff at the same time daily during virtual learning.

4th/5th grade students will continue to follow their block schedules as referenced in the schedule below.
  • Students will log in each day at the set time for class to begin and attend via Google Meet through the link in their Google Classroom.

  • A break is scheduled for students to have lunch and recess daily.

K-1st-2nd-3rd grade students will learn from home a little differently than their older TFCA peers.
  • ALL students will log in at 8:30 each morning through the Google Meet link on their Google Classroom page.  
  • Teachers will host "morning meeting" where they will pray with students, do calendar time, go over important concepts for the day, explain work students are to do that day in their google classroom, etc.
  • Teachers will have a combination of live instruction and videotaped instruction.
  • Teachers will schedule small groups/individual sessions for students later in the day.
  • Teachers have been utilizing Google Classroom in the regular in person classroom to help prepare students for any potential virtual learning period that may occur.
